Livescribe Commercial

Got a gig back in June where I had to fill up a notebook with notes and doodles...for a girl. Not as easy as it sounds, it's actually pretty hard to write like a girl. I don't know why they didn't just hire a girl artist, but it was fun. The commercial was made by Dwyer Productions.

The Fortune Cookie

Thought of this at a Chinese restaurant on Polk Street here in San Francisco. My East Coast sense of humor definitely came with me >;)

Hippo character design

This was a test for a children's educational gaming company, Smarty Pants. The design was partially inspired by the book Cartoon Modern by Amid Amidi which I just finished reading.

A little behind the scenes. Still living out of my boxes of which the scanner is in one until I found my own place, so this was taken with a digital camera:

ViPod

I thought of this when I saw a guy on the bus who looked like he went to every Bonaroo, owns every Matador and Sub Pop record, and Hi Fidelity is his favorite movie. If I had the time & money, I might not be that different.

Yes I know, iPod spoofs are way outdated...too bad, here's another :P

My Journey to In-N-Out Burger

Is In-N-Out Burger really as good as they say? Watch as I go on a quest through magical San Francisco to feed my curiosity on this California staple:

Thanx for the background music Avalanches, The Go! Team, the Strokes and U.N.K.L.E. w/ JSBX!

No One Knows What It's Like...

I woke up a few days ago with that first panel in mind of Skeletor. I have no idea why or how but it seemed like a funny idea:

And here's a comic I started and ended in 2004 because I got too busy with school work. I'm half-Japanese just so you know where this is coming from. It's called ESL:

The New TeddyHose.com!

After several months of sketching ideas at a coffee shop, looking through books for pattern ideas, deciding which homepage idea to go with then combining them all, and working on a 5 year old computer in San Francisco trying to avoid facebook unsuccessfully, I can now enter what's left of the working world with the new & improved www.TeddyHose.com

Now I can complete my transformation to working San Francisco resident stuffed with organic hummus, chai lattes and Full House theme song playing in the background (shooby do bap bada) :P

Behind the scenes...yay...
